Of course we have terabytes of well-organised samples. But the style decides the instrument: for handmade music we reach for real instruments. It’s more beautiful, more inspiring and more fun than canned sounds. Samplers and real instruments both have their place – that’s why we own and use both.

Recording

Studio Recording

More than 120 microphones are waiting to be used – and we know which one suits which instrument. Countless sessions in the studio and on location have built up a wealth of experience you benefit from.

Our instrument collection is worth seeing and playing: a 1964 Hammond A100 with Leslie L122, Fender Rhodes MK1, Wurlitzer A200, Yamaha grand piano and a Giannini drum kit with a good selection of cymbals. Meinl timbales, bongos and assorted percussion complete the setup. Plus electric and acoustic guitars, basses and several amplifiers – including an original Fender Twin Reverb from the seventies.

Recording on location

Live Recording

A concert recording preserves the magic moment. We find the right solution for every task – from a simple stereo recording to a 128-track multitrack recording on site.

Mixdown

Mix & Mastering

In short: mixing blends the individual tracks so that instruments and vocals sit in the right balance. Mastering prepares the finished mix for release according to technical standards.

We offer mixing and mastering separately – or combined.

Broadcast

Audio Broadcast

For many years, radio stations and festivals have trusted the consistent quality of our concert mixes for radio and internet. We offer solutions with a fully equipped OB van (including a Studer Vista 5) or with a mobile control room backstage.

Video

For camera, editing and post-production we work with professional partners from the TV and film industry – cost-efficient and reliable. We’re happy to help with concept and direction.

Our studios are equipped with lighting and video technology for streams, clips and photo shoots.

Consultation in the recording studio

Consulting

A lot has changed in the audio industry over thirty years – some questions remain: which microphone is the right one? How can the acoustics in my home studio be improved? We give independent advice and get to the point quickly. Asking costs nothing – and if we don’t know the answer ourselves, we’ll refer you to an expert from our network.

For engagements we’ll gladly prepare a personal offer.

Denoising and restoration

Audio Doctor

Some recordings still need a little care. For audio problems and other emergencies we have not only the right tools but, above all, a lot of experience: we denoise and restore audio and filter out clicks, hum and even distortion.

Flat fee CHF 130.– plus CHF 1.65 per minute of audio
We offer discounts from 60 minutes of audio.

For engineers and bands

Coaching

We come to you – to the rehearsal room, the home studio, the church – and find out where the problem lies. A professional outside perspective always helps: musically, technically, acoustically or organisationally. For longer-term engagements we develop a coaching concept with clear, binding goals.
